Marlborough Labor Day Parade, Monday, September 2:

The Marlborough Labor Day Parade is a 70+ year tradition here in Marlborough. Mayor J. Christian Dumais is excited to announce that the 2024 parade will return to Main Street. Prior to the parade, the annual Bed Races, sponsored by the Marlborough Lions Club, take place right in the heart of downton on Main Street. The parade begins at 12:00PM on Marlborough's historic Lincoln Street in the French Hill neighborhood. The parade makes many twists and turns before ending at the American Legion Post on Maple Street. A route map, parking suggestions, and other logistics for the public will be made available on this website and on social media as the event draws closer.

2024 Sponorships

The majority of the cost for both the parade and the festival are covered by annual sponsorships and donations from private, commercial, corporate, civic, and individual community members. The parade is a collaborative effort and provides the City of Marlborough with a platform to showcase all that it offers and the city’s shared community pride.

We hope you will consider a sponsorship/donation at one of the five giving levels outlined on sponsorship forms. Your sponsorship not only helps to fund the parade and festival but helps continue to make Labor Day a valued tradition in Marlborough. All levels will be acknowledged on the parade website, social media, with banners in the parade, and in other media.
